Modern Slavery Statement

1. Introduction

This Modern Slavery Statement is made on behalf of 1st Profitness (“we”, “us”, “our”) in accordance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015. It sets out the steps we have taken, and continue to take, to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking do not occur in our business operations or supply chains.

We are committed to conducting our business ethically, responsibly, and transparently, and to implementing effective systems and controls to safeguard against any form of modern slavery.

2. Our Business

1st Profitness operates an online platform accessible via https://portal.1stprofitness.com/, providing digital services and solutions related to fitness, wellness, and associated business operations.

Our activities are primarily technology- and service-based. We do not engage in manufacturing, nor do we operate in sectors traditionally considered high-risk for modern slavery. However, we recognise that risks may still exist within extended supply chains, and we take these risks seriously.

3. Our Supply Chains

Our supply chains may include, but are not limited to:

  • Technology and software service providers
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers
  • Professional services (legal, accounting, marketing, consulting)
  • Payment processing and financial service providers
  • Administrative and support service vendors

We expect all suppliers and partners to uphold standards that are consistent with our values and this statement.

4. Our Policies on Modern Slavery

We maintain a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking. Our commitment is supported by internal policies and principles that promote:

  • Ethical business conduct
  • Compliance with applicable employment and labour laws
  • Fair treatment, dignity, and respect for all workers

Where appropriate, we require suppliers to confirm their compliance with relevant anti-slavery and labour legislation.

5. Due Diligence and Risk Management

To identify and mitigate the risk of modern slavery, we take the following steps:

  • Assessing the nature and location of suppliers before engagement
  • Prioritising reputable suppliers with transparent business practices
  • Including contractual obligations requiring compliance with labour laws
  • Reviewing supplier relationships periodically where feasible

Given the nature of our operations, we currently assess the overall risk of modern slavery within our direct business activities as low, while remaining vigilant to potential risks in indirect supply chains.

6. Training and Awareness

We promote awareness of ethical conduct and responsible sourcing within our organisation. Where relevant, individuals involved in supplier selection and management are encouraged to understand the indicators of modern slavery and the importance of reporting concerns.

7. Reporting Concerns

We encourage employees, contractors, and business partners to raise concerns related to unethical behaviour, labour practices, or potential modern slavery issues. Reports can be made confidentially and without fear of retaliation.

Any concerns raised will be taken seriously, investigated appropriately, and addressed in a timely manner.

8. Ongoing Commitment

We recognise that addressing modern slavery is an ongoing process. We are committed to:

  • Reviewing and improving our policies and procedures
  • Monitoring changes in legislation and best practices
  • Strengthening supplier expectations and oversight as our business grows

9. Approval and Review

This statement has been approved by the management of 1st Profitness and will be reviewed annually or as required to reflect changes in our business operations or legal obligations.
